RockStar Nation's Goal
Our goal at RockStar Nation is to bring the power of music to life for the next generation of music makers. We aim to help students discover their creative gifts, build their musical skills, and gain confidence through performance and teamwork. Our goal is to love our neighbors and bring audiences joy and truth through art. Through all of this, we aim to encourage each of our students to grow into confident, compassionate leaders.
At RockStar Nation, you learn songs and are a part of the band, even if it's the first time you've picked up an instrument. You’re not just with the band—you get the opportunity to be the band!

About RockStar Nation
Our Mission
When you’re a part of RockStar Nation…
You’re part of a family! You’ll make friends and help each other learn performance skills and discover new music. When you’re performing in a group, you have to be completely on the same page, with everybody playing a part in bringing music to life and always having each other’s back. That’s what being a family is about!
You’ll build confidence! The more you practice, the more confident you’ll get in playing your instrument and performing with your bandmates! You might feel nervous getting on stage, but once you walk off, you’ll feel more confident and excited than you ever thought possible! The more you perform, the less nervous you’ll be.
You’ll learn to be patient and flexible! When you’re part of a team, you have to think about others and be there to help them. The band only sounds great when you’re all working together – there’s a time and a place for a solo, but even that has to be in context of what everyone in the band is doing! Every single player is important!
You’ll be less stressed! School is tough. You have enough stress in your life! Studies show that playing music helps reduce stress and makes your brain happier! Watch as your mood improves and vibes start vibing. On top of all of that, being with friends always makes your day better!
You’ll learn how to solve problems! When you’re playing in a band, challenges will always come up. Maybe you’ll make a mistake, or your amp stops working, or you drop your drum sticks, or you forget the words to a song. But you know what? That’s ok! It’s not about not making mistakes, it’s about what you do after that that counts. And guess what? That’s one of the most important life lessons you’ll ever learn.
You’ll learn to accept your weaknesses (and let people help you!) The more you play in a band, the more you’ll learn what your strengths are – and you’ll also learn about your weaknesses, and what your bandmates weaknesses are. That’s nothing to feel bad about! The more you practice, the better you’ll get, and the great part of being in a band is that we are here to encourage each other all along our music journeys. Sometimes you’ll perform exactly the way you want, sometimes you won’t – the main thing is to keep playing, keep smiling, and keep loving the experience!
You’ll learn entrepreneurship! Did you know you can build an entire business based on the skills you learn playing in a band? It’s true. Many musicians have gone on to start amazing businesses, and they’ve become executives, entrepreneurs, writers, influencers, and more…it will get you motivated to keep trying new things. You can change the world. Why not start now?
